What do you do at events?

We set up our living quarters to replicate as best we can, a typical 1860's home . . . . and go about daily activities that might have taken place during that time. Activities could include hearth/fireside cooking, laundry, quilting, letter-writing, all sort of needlework, soldiers box productions, etc. Even the simple art of reading aloud or acting out period plays and literature.

Does everyone camp?

No, some folks prefer to spend the night in a local hotel or motel, or day-trip. But there is no substitute for the camaraderie of the campfire, community dinner and evening social  get-togethers.
