Fort Taber ~ Fort Rodman Historical Association, Incorporated & the City of New Bedford invite you and your organization to attend the 6th Annual Military Encampment (Civil War) at historic Fort Taber Park in the city of New Bedford, Massachusetts. All proceeds from the event will be applied towards the Fort Taber Fort Rodman Military Museum.

The event will be a Living History Encampment & Reenactment with the focus on camp life, military drills, and civilian presentations. Public battle scenarios will be presented on Saturday and Sunday. All units are encouraged to create exhibits or educational demonstrations for the general public. Please check our web site at forttaber.org for additional information.
Registration fee is $3 per person ages 12 and up. Sutlers registration is $25. [Sutlers, due to the City contract restrictions, no food may be sold by vendors attending this event.] Checks are to be made out to Fort Taber Historical Association, Inc. The registration will be applied towards the amenities. Registration is due May 15, 2009 to:
